Luxury in the Bedroom-Upholstered Headboards

An upholstered headboard can define the style of a bedroom.   Styles range from traditional to ultra modern with everything in between to choose from. 

What a luxury to lean back on a soft upholstered headboard to read a book or watch television before counting sheep.

S Interior Design is placing a custom upholstered headboard in the master bedroom of a client who is going to have her first baby.  Visions of nursing and cuddling the newborn while leaning back on the soft chenille upholstered headboard come to mind.

The fabric choice can define the design style as much as the physical design of the headboard itself.  Floral, microfibers, leather, chenille……it goes on and on

You can add nail heads or welting in contrast fabric for extra style  and distinct personality.  You can even frame it in wood or mirror.

You can have a headboard custom designed, or find them at retailers such as Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, and Ethan Allen to name a few .
